Ottawa, Canada and Singapore. March 22, 2010
XAGYL Communications, and Doodle Labs announce the immediate availability of a custom developed high performance, industrial grade embedded OFDM radio module FLR9G30 for the 900 MHz band in the mini-PCI form factor. The FLR9G30 boasts the industry’s highest interference immunity from the neighboring GSM band. The design features advanced filtering techniques to achieve the best performance even with co-located powerful GSM base stations.

Daniel Lajeunesse, the President of XAGYL stated, “this is a very exciting entry into the wireless data marketplace. This firmly places us well out front of everyone else in this field. The FLR9G30 is now the Gold Standard for the entire marketplace.”
Greg Treppanier, Network Engineer for IGS Networks in Hawkesbury, Ontario commented, “The FLR9G30 is the best 900MHz miniPCI card we have ever used! Since we installed them in our network, our support calls have virtually stopped, along with complaints of slow speed and frequent disconnects. I think the FLR9G30 is amazing!”
The FLR9G30 offers significant advanced features to the communication equipment manufacturers (OEMs). The advanced FLR9G30 radio module is fully programmable in the 902-927 MHz frequency range and channel width can be 5 or 10 MHz to accommodate different throughput requirements.
Raghu PV, GM for Doodle Labs added, “The FLR9G30 is specially designed to deliver best performance in long-range outdoor applications. The 900 MHz OFDM radio delivers up to 1000 mW output power for improved range in obstacle-rich environments and offers near line of sight capability. The radio can achieve 20 Mbps TCP/IP data throughput and the onboard hardware encryption engine can support the full 128 bit AES. The industrial grade design (-40 deg C ~ +85 deg C) & enhanced resilience to RF surges & ESD makes the radio ideal for deploying in harsh environments.”
