Over the years Doodle Labs products have been used in many innovative wireless broadband OEM projects. Here we are presenting some of the noteworthy customer experiences and project stories that show the performance edge that Doodle Labs provides. On these anecdotes we have removed the identity to address the confidentiality concerns of our customers.

We would like to invite you to send us your experience with the Doodle Labs products. Please send us an email marketing@doodlelabs.com.

The 900 MHz (DLM108) field test was a success.  With 2 dBi antennas on each end and at 5 mile distance we got -84 dBm signal level. Both 5MHz and 10MHz BW produced around 700 Kbps Iperf test while set on dynamic RF rates. There are significant RF interferer's in the area. In comparison other vendors' product would not work at any distance due to the receivers poor selectivity.

DLM108 (900 MHz) testing is complete. We tested with a remote XR-9  and also used a XR-9 for the AP for all tests. Looking over the lab notes I see benefit with your product. Most of the benefit seems to be in the 928 MHz and up.  Significant-significant improvement over the XR-9. As I wrote earlier, clearly the XR-9 has worse desensitization performance than the DLM108 radio. Below band interference immunity is ~ 5 dB higher. Above band, interference immunity is ~10 to 20 dB better. The interference signal generator ran out of RF power in the above band testing.

There are some new updates. We have been testing the 2.4 GHz (DLM106) modules and collecting data. We are seeing higher SNR levels with your radio modules (vs. an XR2). We had your module and the XR2 in the same unit with the same type of antennas so that we could do a head-to-head comparison. Part of the issue we were having is that it is difficult to conduct this testing in my city since there is a lot of interference, multi-path, and there are no good line-of-site locations. So we made a trip to much cleaner RF locations where we conducted additional testing. Now we have a set of data where your radios outperformed the XR2 consistently.

I want to thank the Doodle-Labs team for this great innovation. The 2.4 GHz (DLM106) card is a dream card. After a power failure on one of our Point to Multipoint Relays, we noticed the 1 watt 2.4 amplifier connected behind a XR2  600 mw mini-PCI card was dead. We decided to test our newly acquired DLM106  cards on the relay.

The results were astonishing. Customers who previously had unstable connections at 5 kilometers using the Nanostation2 and Mikrotik 133 CPEs had stable connections at about -75 dbm as opposed to the previously unstable -81 dbm with amplifier. I liked the results because it eliminated the need for amplification, and my links were even more stable than before.

Durability being the only factor I can't confirm now, I'll say "so far so good" Keep up Doodle-Labs.

After more than a month of testing , I can say that the DLM106 (2.4 GHz) mini-PCI of Doodle is the best of cards that I used in my work. It is characterized by the ability and stability. I would also like to strongly commend the great cooperation of Doodle staff in the sales and support.  They are not late to reply about any query and show considerable cooperation .

I tested the 5 GHz cards (DLM105) on a link in all frequencies. The received signal was better than XR5.  I have tested the throughput on all frequencies...  20mhz and 40mhz turbo... I think these are ok, anyway it was same 50 Mbps TCP throughput on turbo mode for 5250 ,5760,5800 mhz.

This is to confirm that we have tested the Doodlelabs 5.8Ghz cards in South Africa. One test that is worth mentioning is 32km long link, but there is no LOS. We received 12Mbps Rx&Tx link, with 92% average CCQ, on 5200MHz frequency. The link was tested to a rural area in South Africa, and they are very satisfied, thanks to Doodlelabs.
