DL180-5 is a best-in-class, high performance embedded OFDM radio transceiver specially optimized for the frequency band 180 MHz. The DL180-5 is  optimized for 5 MHz channel bandwidth. It features up to 6 Mbps data throughput, 30 dBm (1W) Tx power, better Rx sensitivity and high noise immunity. The transceiver features Doodle Labs’ proprietary (Patent pending) PrismTM hybrid heterodyne technology with advanced filtering and noise reduction techniques for high interference immunity and long range applications. The rugged construction of the transceiver makes it ideal for deploying in Military grade equipment.

The transceiver maintains distortion free signal at higher modulation rates and high power to maintain low packet errors and maximize data throughput. The design uses highly linear power amplifier to deliver maximum power even at 64 QAM radio modulations while maintaining low distortion EVM (Error Vector Magnitude). The transceiver employs fine tuned Low Noise Amplifier on the the receive chain to obtain better Rx sensitivity and high SNR. The transceivers are specially designed to deliver best performance in long-range applications. The Industrial/Military grade design & high resilience to RF surges & ESD makes it ideal for deploying in harsh environments.
